An unelected and unvetted billionaire should not have our private data

Last Friday, I joined House Democrats to introduce the Taxpayer Data Protection Act which aims to stop people with no authority from accessing our highly sensitive Treasury Department payment system. An unelected and unvetted billionaire should not have access to your private data. 

Not only is this wrong – it is illegal.

I am committed to using every tool available to hold Musk, Trump, and the Administration accountable to the American people. The Taxpayer Data Protection Act is one step in taking a stand against the Republican Rip-Off.

Our public outrage is putting pressure on the Republican Rip-Off, and we need to continue to make sure they know that we are not backing down.

Instead of focusing on the American people and promises to lower costs, gas prices are going up. This is the most inflationary President we have ever seen, and it goes completely against the values we share here at home. 

Together, we can stop this Republican Rip-Off and continue to hold Musk, Trump, and the Administration accountable.
