National Coming Out Day ❤️🧡💛💙💚💜

I am proud to announce my endorsement for re-election by the Human Rights Campaign. HRC is America's largest national lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer civil rights organization, and I am committed to working with them to ensure all Americans are treated fairly and equally under the law.

Today is National Coming Out Day — a day to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community, and recognize that the act of coming out to friends and family sometimes takes deep personal courage.

This National Coming Out Day, I am reminded that while we have made monumental progress towards equal rights, members of the LGBTQ+ community still face significant barriers to equality. Worse still, MAGA Republicans are openly running on a platform calling to undo what progress we have made.

I am proud to stand with HRC and its millions of members nationwide in fighting for equal rights for members of the LGBTQ+ community.

This election, our country faces a fundamental choice. Will we wind the clocks back, or will we continue to work towards the promise of liberty and justice for all?

This National Coming Out Day, please join me in celebrating our friends and family in the LGBTQ+ community.

And tomorrow, let us continue fighting for civil and human rights for all.
