Sign my petition: Abortion should be safe and legal

This weekend, we mark the 49th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. This decision unlocked two generations of progress for America – giving women the right and the ability to chart their own futures.

And yet, as we celebrate this milestone, these rights have never been more under assault. In states like Texas and Mississippi, and many others, far-right politicians are doing all they can to roll back Roe v. Wade and end safe, legal abortions. And the Supreme Court appears to be poised to overturn Roe v. Wade.

But we are not powerless. House Democrats passed federal protections for a woman's right to choose and now we need the Senate to act. Add your name: tell the Senate to pass federal protections for abortions.

I will always fight for reproductive rights for all. I will always fight to protect access to abortion. And I am deeply honored to have been endorsed for re-election by the Planned Parenthood Action Fund.

This is going to be a tough fight, but the hardest fights are always the fights most worth fighting. We cannot let this chance to protect reproductive freedom fall by the wayside.
