Honoring Justice Ginsburg's legacy

The passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is an enormous loss for our country. Justice Ginsburg was an icon for women and girls nationwide, a dedicated Supreme Court justice and a remarkable woman.

We mourned Justice Ginsburg yesterday as she lay in state in the U.S. Capitol, the first woman and first Jewish person with that honor. I extend my sincere condolences to her family — and to all of you mourning this loss.

Justice Ginsburg was dedicated to her work. And today, we must continue her legacy as a champion of equality and justice.

There is a lot at stake. Health care, reproductive freedom, labor rights, climate, voting rights, the right to unionize and LGBTQ+ rights all hang in the balance.

I hope you will stand with me in the push to Election Day. With a critical end-of-quarter fundraising deadline coming up, I am asking for your support today. Please donate $3, $5, $10 or more to help us reach our goal.

I will continue to speak out about the high stakes of this election, and to call on Washingtonians and people across the country to stand up and make their voices heard.

Now is the time to get involved. Make sure to ask your friends and family to call their senators, and remind them to vote this fall. Your vote is your voice.

I am committed to doing all I can to help elect Joe Biden and Democrats up and down the ballot. Winning in November will put us in the best position possible to continue our fight to expand health care access, protect reproductive freedom, tackle climate change, take action on racial injustice and build an economy that works for everyone. We can honor Justice Ginsburg and her legacy through this critical work — work she spent her life championing.

Please chip in $3, $5 or $10 right now to push our campaign through the end of this fundraising quarter.
