There for America's workers
As the son of a union power line worker and a mom who managed the books while raising eight kids, a union literally put the shirt on my back. My family's union job provided for me and my brothers and sisters.
I know firsthand the value of a union job. That is why I am a proud supporter of unions and the workers who are at their backbone. And why I am honored to have earned the endorsement of the Washington State Labor Council, AFL-CIO, which represents more than 550,000 union workers and their families throughout our state.
I am also honored to be endorsed by the:
- American Federation of Government Employees
- Communications Workers of America
- International Longshore and Warehouse Union
- International Union of Operating Engineers Local 302
- International Union of Painters and Allied Trades
- Laborers' International Union
- Laborers' International Union Local 292
- Marine Engineers' Beneficial Association
- National Education Association
- Pacific Northwest Labor Council
- Retired Public Employees Council of Washington
- Washington State Association of U.A. Plumbers & Pipefitters
- Washington State Council of County and City Employees
Having grown up in a union household, I understand that a strong economic foundation for workers requires fair and secure workplaces. I support the Protecting the Right to Organize Act to protect the right to organize and the ability to fight for better benefits and pay.
I have a proven track record of fighting for labor organizations, and I will always support Northwest Washington workers.
Donate today. Let's win together in 2020.
