No one should go hungry
People in Northwest Washington have come together during these tough times. Whether you are practicing social distancing, sewing masks for health care workers, checking on neighbors, giving blood, or supporting the community in some other way — you are making a difference. We must continue to look out for each other. No one should go hungry.
If you need help with groceries for yourself or your family, you are not alone.
You may have also heard that Governor Jay Inslee joined nonprofits in launching a relief fund, called WA Food Fund, to support food banks and pantries across the state.
If you are able, I hope you will consider donating.
I have recently helped hand out food to families at Silver Lake Elementary in Everett and Sedro-Woolley residents with Helping Hands Food Bank.
