I am committed to ending discrimination in all its forms, for all Americans. That is why receiving the endorsement of Equal Rights Washington and a perfect score from the Human Rights Campaign means so much to me.

Everyone in our country deserves equal treatment under the law. Everyone.

I support the #EqualityAct because equal rights in employment, housing, military service, marriage, and every aspect of American life must be extended to everyone regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. Otherwise, our promise of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness falls short.

I will continue to work in Congress to ensure that all Americans enjoy equal protection under the law, and I am honored to have the support of Equal Rights Washington and HRC in that effort.
