Now more than ever

Today, the Senate confirmed Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

I believe Kavanaugh’s confirmation is a fundamental travesty of the confirmation process. It is emblematic of this administration's deliberate efforts to divide this country and not seek any level of compromise. And it is what we have seen from this administration over and over again.

Kavanuagh’s confirmation is a stark reminder of what is at stake in the upcoming election. Now more than ever, we need to elect lawmakers committed to protecting civil rights, women's rights, voting rights – our basic rights.

I am working hard every day in my district to earn each vote, elevate local Democratic candidates and win back the majority in the U.S. House of Representatives.
