back to school
Friends,
As students head back into the classrooms this week, I am focused on making sure we are setting them up for future success.
There is a critical need for science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education in Washington. Our state has more STEM jobs than any other state in the country, but we are failing to train our future workforce to meet the demand.
I am focused on expanding access to STEM education, technical training, and apprenticeship programs at the local level so that our students and workers can compete in a global marketplace.
Together, we can provide families with better jobs and higher wages, and give people the tools they will need to succeed in the 21st century.
Chip in today and help us prepare Washinton for the future.
Rick
